D Generation Book Cover Illustration

For the cover of Eric Best's newest novel, The D Generation, I created this watercolor to his specifications. Lord knows I love to draw hot cars and hot blonde guys, and I really enjoyed using some special watercolor techniques, particularly for the clouds and rust effects. It is rare that I do not use a nib pen for any line work, and I like the old-photo, washed-out feel here.
