Put On Helmet

When Terminal 5 opened more than 3 years ago, we didn't have any coverings for the box office windows, and I resolved to make us some that were easy to attach, and, of course, fanciful and attractive.  Eventually I found a good piece of wood, which I cut to the right size and painted. They are attached with industrial velcro - we just have to pop them in or out of place whenever we need to close or open a window. I added these two images in acrylic: the first taken directly from "The Space Shuttle Operator's Manual" of an astronaut, and the second modified from that image to depict a deep-sea diver. They seem to be living in harmony.
